Blockchain.com cryptocurrency wallet service has reported a failure due to which most users are unable to access their funds. This happened today, March 9th, at approximately 15:00 Moscow time. Service representatives assured that users' assets are safe and asked them not to trust third-party accounts that promise to restore access to the site.
A dedicated section has been launched on Blockchain.com where customers can find out the latest troubleshooting information. The wallet's official website says that experts continue to look for the cause of the failure.
At the end of February, a crash occurred on the PDAX crypto exchange. Due to technical problems, the cost of bitcoin on the site dropped to $ 6 thousand, although on other exchanges at that moment it was about $ 50 thousand. Most buyers immediately transferred bitcoins to cold wallets even before the crypto exchange closed the withdrawal of funds for users. The platform requires them to return their assets under threat of legal action.
